Cookery Kit Hire

Cooking Kits containing cooking equipment are available for youth projects in North Glasgow to hire out. The kits aim to support youth projects to deliver healthy eating programmes and practical cookery sessions with young people.

The Cooking Kits contain a portable stove and gas, pots/pans, general cooking equipment and a small cookery book. The kits provide equipment for a maximum of 6 young people to take part.

In addition to the Cooking Kits, supporting resources are also available. The Youth Food Guidelines and Healthy Eating Toolkit contains lots of useful information about healthy eating, activity ideas, healthy tuck shop suggestions, recipes, and cookery class ideas. For a copy of the toolkit, please contact admin@ngcfi.org.uk

For more information about the Cooking Kits or to organise hiring out the equipment, please contact North Glasgow Food Initiative on 0141 772 0299. Please note that there is a small charge and deposit (refundable upon return of cooking kit) for hiring out the equipment.
