Like our Facebook page for updates on the goings on a Springburn Food Hub.
Springburn Food Hub has two fantastic community allotment spaces within Springburn allotments; one a focused children’s gardening space, the other focused on volunteer gardening.
We have weekly volunteer gardening sessions, as well as hosting gardening education sessions, children’s gardening sessions, and partner group work. We are keen to make this safe, green haven available to the Springburn community – to learn to grow your own vegetables, to help with our community growing activities, or simply to enjoy being outdoors in nature.
All the produce we grow is available to the Springburn community. We use it to cook our community meals, and any surplus is available to take home and cook.
Throughout the year we run workshops and events. Keep your eyes peeled on our website and social media pages to stay updated on new courses and workshops such as food growing, composting, upcycling, landscaping and family-friendly events.
If your organisation, school, club or youth group, would like us to run a gardening and nature based activities then please get in touch!

Our community meals are prepared using seasonal harvest from our gardens, as well as Fareshare foods diverted from landfills. As well as a friendly, relaxed environment in which to sit down and share a meal with other members of the diverse Springburn community, our community meals are an opportunity to learn of our other activities in the area, as well as what further activities are happening in Springburn. Partnership organisations are always invited to attend to share their community events, and our Food Hub Group are in attendance, consulting with the community to shape our plans in the area.
