I’m Sineadin, and I first began working at NGCFI as a sessional cook, delivering cooking classes across Springburn, Royston and Milton. Originally from Aberdeen, I came to Glasgow about twenty years ago, and have worked with food ever since! I’m always happy to chat about something food related, from the growing, to harvest, to cooking and of course eating! I am fascinated by different food cultures, and experiences and memories around food.
I am currently completing a MEd at Glasgow University in Adult Education, Community Development and Youth Work alongside my role with NGCFI, and have a keen interest in social justice and the environment, which I bring to my community work.
I’m a keen outdoors swimmer, and will most probably encourage you to join me for a dip in a local loch!
